Good morning,
There will be no school in all MSAD 54 schools today. MASD 54 will be cancelling school today
as a result of an indirect threat that we were made aware of last night. After talking to local
law enforcement last night and again this morning, we have determined that although the threat was
not specific to our schools, it was concerning enough that we have decided to close school today
out of an abundance of caution and to provide police with time to make contact with the individual
who made the post. Although we anticipate being back in school Friday, we will stay in close
communication with local law enforcement and will communicate out to students, staff and families
later today regarding school tomorrow.
Thank you,
MSAD 54
