REACH After School Program

The R.E.A.C.H. After School Program is committed to moving our community forward through collaborative partnerships that create quality out-of-school programming for children and families, providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment to promote learning, aspirations, opportunities, and growth.

Our staff are committed to the continued success of our R.E.A.C.H. After School Program students throughout their year. We strive to provide quality programming that targets academic, educational and cultural enrichment opportunities, as well as a focus on health and wellness. Our hope is that through our programming, we can better support their progress and growth in the classroom and beyond.

On a daily basis we offer our students grades 2-8, a homework/tutoring time which allows them extra assistance with their homework assignments or areas that they are struggling with in the classroom. This forum allows the academic success of our students in a safe structured environment. We have an experienced staff that has worked in many educational genres allowing us the ability to handle the diverse needs of all of our students.

Our educational and cultural enrichment activities and health and wellness programming are designed to meet the developmental interests and needs of each age group, some examples are healthy cooking classes, ropes course, disc golf, cooperative and team building activities, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Kit activities, Yoga/Mindfulness, Drug Prevention Programming, Garden Club, Run Club, Mentoring Programs, mountain biking, outdoor adventure programming, theater club, Coding, map skills, community service, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, music appreciation, arts, crafts and much more.
