After-School Enrichment Activity Staff, North El

(5-9 hrs per week; 30-32 weeks; projected start date 9/23/19)

 

  • Supplement and reinforce 21st CCLC goals and objectives and daytime classroom teacher’s lessons by working with students in developing literacy skills, content-area knowledge, and technology education to enable them to meet local and State standards.
  • Provide opportunities for skill development through guided practice opportunities and enrichment activities for students.
  • Assist in gathering and generating data and documentation materials necessary for program evaluation.
  • Contribute articles and materials for project newsletters.
  • Participate in professional development activities, curriculum development activities, staff meetings, and parent meetings.
  • Assist with other activities as designated by the Site Coordinator or Project Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
  • Current Maine Teacher Certification preferred.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
